Harris Center hosting Climate Cafe

The Harris Center for Conservation Education, 83 King’s Highway in Hancock, will host a Climate Café Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 5 p.m..

Climate Cafés are small-group discussions where participants can share their thoughts and feelings about climate change in a supportive setting. The event will focus on reflecting on recent extreme weather in the southeastern United States and flooding in New Hampshire and Vermont. It will be co-facilitated by Maria Finnegan, director of the Climate and Health Initiative for Caregivers and Kids, and Susie Spikol, community programs director at the Harris Center.

The event is free, but registration is required. Coffee and baked goods will be provided.
