The Wilton Community Center will sponsor an evening of music featuring The High Bowing String Quartet Thursday, Aug. 11, at 7:30 p.m. at Wilton Collaborative Space, 25 Gregg St.

The musicians are members of the Raphael Chamber Music Workshop and will perform works of Mozart and Brahms. The quartet consists of Linda Nelson, violin 1 and 2; Ed Mellander, violin 1 and 2; Kathy Mellander, viola; and Lee Copenhaver, cello. Refreshments will be served during the show, and all are welcome to attend this free event.

Wilton Collaborative Space will host Project Linus Aug. 9 and 23 from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and continuing every second and fourth Tuesday. Participants can edge finish blankets that will be given to first-responders for children in need. All materials will be provided, and instruction given. Contact Stephanie Ouellette at ouellette99@gmail.com for information.

Caregivers' Drop In is Friday, Aug. 12, at 10 a.m. Being a caregiver for a friend or family member can be a challenging and lonely task. This is a time for caregivers to learn about local resources, have a cup of coffee or tea and a snack and connect with other caregivers. The group meets every second Friday morning at 10 a.m. at the Wilton Collaborative Space.

Open Mic Night is Wednesday, Aug. 24, at 7 p.m. at Wilton Collaborative Space. Free pizza is served. Send email to sandyl@wiltonlibrarynh.org to sign up to perform.
