High Mowing School held its annual May Day Festival Saturday.

Students participated in several traditional festivities, including Morris dancing, a skit banishing King and Queen Winter and welcoming in spring, concluding with a maypole dance.

Members of the Flying Gravity Circus, a nonprofit youth circus program in part founded by High Mowing instructor Jon Roitman, also demonstrated several of their acts, which will be on full display at their upcoming show, “From There to Here to There,” at the Amato Performing Arts Center in Milford on May 10 and 11.
