HANCOCKHomeStead earns accreditation

HomeStead Property Watch and Management Services of Hancock has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association for the third year.

The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada. Home Watch is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues, at a vacation or primary home while the owners are not in residence. All NHWA accredited members are background-checked, insured, and bonded.

A native of New Hampshire, owner Kurtis Grassett is a licensed certified master home inspector in both New Hampshire and Vermont. He is also licensed to conduct septic evaluations and is certified as a mold investigator.

HomeStead Operations Manager Scott Lester grew up in Antrim, where he had a career in law enforcement that concluded in 2021 as the Antrim chief of police.
