Peterborough Town Library, 2 Concord St., will host dietician Lucy Hutchings for the next lecture in its Peterborough Presents series.

The lecture will be held in the 1833 Room on Monday, Sept. 19, at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public.

Hutchings, a registered dietician, specializes in helping people struggling with autoimmune issues by overcoming inflammation through a better diet. Digestive problems, arthritis, heart disease and skin issues are all connected to the gut and affected by what people eat. Hutchings will give a one-hour presentation with tips on how to get started on an anti-inflammatory diet and commit to healthier habits. Resources and food samples will be available. Hutchings’ website is lucyhutchingsrd.com.

The Peterborough Presents series was created by the Peterborough Town Library to give local people a platform to share their expertise, creative work or skills with the public. For the full series schedule, visit peterboroughtownlibrary.org/peterboroughpresents.
