Ingalls Memorial Library schedules Fun Friday program

Ingalls Memorial Library in Rindge welcomes Harrisville Designs to its Fun Friday program March 10 at noon. 

People can come to the Rindge Meeting House, located at 6 Payson Hill Road, to learn about Harrisville Designs and the resurgence of homemade potholders, as well as the other products and services it offers. Harrisville Designs has been spinning virgin wool yarn for more than 50 years, and its Friendly Loom product line includes weaving, knitting, felting and metal looms and cotton loops for weaving potholders.

The library has purchased five potholder looms and will be circulating them with cotton loops. This program is open to all ages, and people can bring lunch if they choose. This program will also serve as the kickoff to the library's Loop Group, which will be forming soon.
