Ingalls Memorial Library, 203 Main St. in Rindge, will welcome Jodi and Dean Turner from Imagine That Honey in Swanzey to talk about bees Tuesday, May 17. at 6 p.m.
If the weather cooperates, the program will be held on the library lawn, and people can bring lawn chairs.
The Turners will be talking about beekeeping and their love of pollinators. and will explain how everyone can make a difference. They will share their experiences regarding honeybees, Mason bees, challenges in the region, planting suggestions for gardens and yards and more. The discussion will be focused on attendees’ interests, and people can learn about pollination, bee dances, viewing the bees in an observation hive and how to get started.
Everybody who attends will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a Mason bee house for their yard. For information, call the library at 603-899-3303.
