A week of Jaffrey 250th anniversary celebrations kicked off on Monday morning with a golf tournament where teams dressed in vintage golf outfits at The Shattuck Golf Club in Jaffrey.

The tournament used a scramble format, where each member of a team of four took a shot, and then all four team members took the next shot from the best ball.

The first place team, which took home a special edition Jaffrey 250 trophy, was Steve Lennon, George Slyman, Doug Sharp and Aaron Slyman with a score of 16 under par for the 18-hole course. Medals were awarded to the top three finishing teams. Second place went to the team of Jed Brummer, Owen Houghton, Matthew Webber and Joshua Nero at 13 under par. Third place was Ed Maddigan, Andy Goen, Brian Morris and Kevin Anderson at 10 under par.

Kendra Shea and Will Hackler won the competition for longest drive. Andy Lawn and Shea were awarded the prize for the best vintage outfits.

This event was sponsored by MilliporeSigma, The Shattuck Golf Club and the Jaffrey 250th Committee.
