Jaffrey Public Library, 38 Main St., is kicking off Winter Learning with a building extravaganza, as Legos will be available daily, and Lego Challenge boxes will be available for checkout.

The Start Your Own Fiber Arts Club will meet weekdays from 2 to 5 p.m. starting Jan. 31. Friends can meet after school to work on knitting and crochet projects together. The library will provide the needles and yarn. The History Makers' space on the top floor is reserved everyday for teens' and tweens' fiber arts groups, and drop-in instructional sessions are also available for Wednesdays at 3:30 pm in the Trustee Room for help from an experienced knitter and crocheter.

The Needle Felting Intro is Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 3:30 p.m. Participants ages 11 to 17 can make a Reading Colors Your World-themed project in this introductory needle felting workshop.Registration is required. Space is limited.

My First Book Club for ages 4 to 6 meets Wednesdays, Feb. 2 and March 2 at 4 p.m. Sign up and come to the library to check out your copy of this month’s title. Read it at home, then join a child-sized discussion and activity in the library. Caregiver participation may be required for the activity segment of the meeting.

Curious Minds Book Club meets Wednesdays, Feb. 16 and March 16, at 4 p.m. Youth ages 7 to 10 choose a book from the monthly book list to read, then meet for book-sharing, followed by a science-based activity in the library. This in-person book club will have a hybrid option for any participants who prefer to attend the discussion portion from home.

The Families Read Roald Dahl Book Club meets Wednesdays, Feb. 23 and March 23, at 4 p.m. Each month will feature a novel by children’s author Roald Dahl. This gives caregivers and older siblings the chance to take turns reading aloud to enjoy the story and improve reading skills together. Participating families will receive a copy of the book to keep for their home libraries. This in-person book club will have a hybrid option for participants who prefer to attend from home.

Silly Stuffie Sleepover drop-off is Friday, Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and pickup is Saturday, Feb. 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dolls and stuffed animals are invited to spend the night at the library for a Silly Stuffie Sleepover. Children can drop off their stuffies on Friday and keep an eye on the library’s Facebook page throughout the evening to see what they are up to.

Silly Stuffie Pajama Storytime is Friday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. via Facebook Live. Children can join their stuffies online for a pajama storytime.
