A Jaffrey man has been arrested after at least a dozen videos and over 50 images of child sex abuse were located on electronic devices recovered at his apartment.

Jaffrey Detective Chris Anderson said Monday morning that Todd White, 47, will face multiple counts of possession of child sexual abuse images after being arrested on Feb. 5.

“The arrest warrant was a result of forensic analysis from the devices he used,” Anderson said, who is also a member of the NH Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC).

White’s internet service provider provided a cyber tip to ICAC, Anderson said, prompting the execution of a search warrant at White’s Main Street residence on Jan. 25 by members of ICAC, Jaffrey police, Cheshire County Sheriff’s Office, and US Department of Homeland Security.

Anderson said the images and videos had been downloaded from the internet and that the minors in the images were not people that White knows.

The images were found on multiple devices, Anderson said.

The investigation is still ongoing at this point, Anderson said, meaning more images and videos could be uncovered.

White was released on personal recognizance and was given a Feb. 21 court date a the Cheshire Superior Court.

Editor’s note: This story originally incorrectly said White’s first hame was James. His first name is Todd.
