The Jaffrey Civic Center is hosting an exhibit of student artwork in the Auditorium Gallery until May 28.

The show is an annual event featuring works from students in kindergarten through 12th grade and are in a variety of materials and styles.

“I am thrilled to be able to help provide a venue to recognize the achievements of these young artists,” Jaffrey Civic Center Executive Director Rebecca Fredrickson stated. “Youth art has a special energy and honesty that is very engaging. I love seeing the work that comes in from young local artists. We are hoping that many of these students and their families visit the Jaffrey Civic Center to see their art on the walls”

The exhibit can be seen during the center’s open hours of noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. There will be an opening reception Saturday, May 14, from noon to 1:30 p.m. All are welcome, and refreshments will be served.
