PeterboroughReid and Andersen to perform

Peterborough Folk Music presents a holiday concert with Harvey Reid and Joyce Andersen on Sunday, Dec. 8, at Bass Hall in the Monadnock Center for History and Culture, 19 Grove St., Peterborough. Doors open at 3:30 p.m., and the concert begins at 4 p.m.

Reid and Andersen are an acoustic duo known for their instrumental skill, vocal harmonies and songwriting. They perform a range of roots and Americana music, including Celtic jigs, old-time fiddle tunes, blues rockers, gospel duets and ballads. Reid’s acoustic and slide guitar work complements Andersen’s fiddle, with both sharing lead and harmony vocals. The pair were inducted into the Maine Music Awards Hall of Fame in 2023 and continue to record and perform throughout New England.
