KeeneManaging millennialsSusan Hay and Emily Porschitz of LaunchingU will hold a free workshop for managers, business owners or human resources leaders who want to learn practical and road-tested strategies for understanding, leading and enjoying millennials in the workplace.
The workshop will be held on Dec. 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hannah Grimes Center. The focus will be on developing effective recruiting, management and retention strategies for engaging this very capable cohort group.
“The strategies that we have developed for managing the more senior talent in our organizations – the boomers and Gen Xers – are much less effective with millennials,” says Hay, the founder of LaunchingU. “While they may bring challenges, understanding out how to manage millennials effectively is not rocket science and it is so worth the effort.”
A light lunch will be provided. RSVP is required to Sue Hay at sue@launchingu.com.
Hay and Porschitz are partners in LaunchingU, a career coaching business focused on helping college students and young professionals. They teach career transition skills that students will use for the rest of their lives and equip them with the tools they need to succeed in this competitive job market.
