Susan Lowe, CPA, CGMA, MSA, has been named as chief financial officer at Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services. She will oversee the agency’s finance and facilities functions, which support agency services including the visiting nurses and hospice for southwestern New Hampshire, and community service programs such as Meals on Wheels, transportation and adult day services.
Prior to coming to HCS, Lowe was the CFO at Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech, a multistate nonprofit school and social services organization focused on teaching listening and spoken language skills to deaf and hard-of-hearing children. Currently, she serves as the treasurer of the Board of Directors for Strategies for Youth, a national nonprofit organization focused on juvenile justice. She has also held CFO positions with Physicians for Human Rights, an international organization; FSG, an international nonprofit consulting firm; and the Children’s Communication Center.
Lowe holds a Master of Science degree in accountancy and business ethics from Bentley University, a graduate certificate in management and administration from Harvard University’s Extension School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and economics from Bucknell University.
Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services is a Monadnock United Way agency serving 52 communities in southwest New Hampshire.
