The current, ruling progressive Democrats believe only in a one world government. Nations are not their thing. For that matter, citizens aren't either.

They believe in themselves, the ruling elite, not in old-fashioned, ratified, national constitutions. Open borders are but one benefit of this brave new world where the idea of citizenship is meaningless. Migrants entering our country are entitled to free entry, paid transportation to their destination of choice, no annoying airport security screenings (congested with American travelers), free food, free housing, free medical care, prepaid debit cards and, of course, state-provided education for their children. Any criticism or opposition to this regime is illegitimate and not tolerated on the grounds that it is racist. The current ruling progressive Democrats are only aiming for total, tyrannical power over their soulless subjects.
