Hancock Town Library, 25 Main St., will present Life, Death, & Cake with Susan MacNeil and Kasey March Thursday, April 27, at 7 p.m. in the Daniels Room.

March, an end-of-life doula, and MacNeil, author of “18 Minutes: A Daughter’s Primer on Life & Death,” will offer a chance to talk about preparing for a good death through the lens of their own experiences, which include MacNeil experiencing her mother’s death in early 2022.

The two-hour session will provide a framework for others to join in the conversation about all aspects of death. This program is not intended to be a support group although the conversation will be conducted in a compassionate environment. The session is free and open to all.
