A Silver Alert for a missing vulnerable adult was canceled a few hours after being issued on Saturday, when the woman was located.

On Saturday, at the request of the Rindge Police Department, the New Hampshire State Police activated the missing vulnerable adult/Silver Alert system, asking the public’s assistance in locating Theresa Beaulieu, 78. Beaulieu had last been seen that morning at 10:15 a.m., walking eastbound on Route 119 toward the Irving Gas station and Route 202 intersection in Rindge.

The alert was canceled in an announcement released at 2:28 p.m. the same day, with the notification that Beaulieu had been located.

A Silver Alert is a public notification system to broadcast information about missing persons, particularly those with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other mental disabilites, in order to help locate them.
