Lyndeborough Historical Society sets annual meeting

The Lyndeborough Historical Society will hold its annual meeting Friday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m., at J.A. Tarbell Library, 136 Forest Road.

In addition to election of officers, Stephanie Roper, editor of the the upcoming new town history, and members of her staff will describe how the history was conceived about seven years ago and developed over the years, including the research that was needed. The town’s previous histories were written in 1905 and 1955, and the new book should be available this spring.

The meeting is open to the public, and new members are welcome.
