Monadnock Area Transitional Shelter receives grant

The Monadnock Area Transitional Shelter recently received a $750 grant from the JAM Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, which will help further the organization’s mission of supporting families as they transition from homelessness to permanent housing by providing financial support at the holidays for gifts and groceries.

MATS’s mission is to provide transitional housing, support and referral services to people who are experiencing homelessness, to educate the community on the issues of homelessness and to advocate for solutions.
