The Monadnock Area Transitional Shelter recently received a grant from the Robbie and Paul Hertneky Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. The grant will help further the nonprofit’s mission of providing transitional housing and support for people experiencing homelessness in the Monadnock Region.
For more than 30 years, MATS has provided shelter, support and resources to allow participants to maintain stable housing and employment after they move to their own homes. The organization is funded entirely by private donations and grants.
