Monadnock Community Hospital, in conjunction with its community partners, is working with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services to prepare for the potential community spread of the coronavirus.
Following guidance from the American Hospital Association, MCH has activated its Incident Command Team to ensure preparedness and support coordination of its response with community EMS partners, area service providers and State and National agencies. MCH will continue to post links on its website and social media to the most accurate and up-to-date information supplied by the CDC, NHDHHS and the World Health Organization.
Here are steps you can take to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other common respiratory viruses:
■Wash your hands frequently and/or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
■Stay home and avoid public places when you are sick and avoid being within six feet of a person who is sick.
■Cover your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing.
■ Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth, especially with unwashed hands.
■ Avoid sharing drinks and other items that may transmit saliva.
■ Disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
