Community center to host annual story hour

The Dublin Community Center will host its second annual Dublin Story Hour on Saturday at 7 p.m.. The story hour, which will benefit the community center, is in the tradition of “The Moth Story Hour.”

This year’s storytellers, from Dublin and the Monadnock region, are Grace Aldrich, massage therapist, singer, storyteller; Kathy Boss, executive director of the Peterborough Food Pantry; Nancy Cayford, designer, hand-knit fiber artist and co-founder of the Dublin Community Center; Tim Clark, writer for Yankee Publishing, retired ConVal English teacher, drama coach, and actor at Peterborough Players; Phil McFarland, communications manager at Monadnock Community Hospital, bonsai artist and musician; Jamie Trowbridge, president and CEO at Yankee Publishing; Paul Tuller, designer and builder of Japanese inspired furniture and architectural elements and winner of the 2018 Ewing Award for Folk and Traditional Arts; and Volkert Volkersz, program coordinator at Dublin Community Center and musician.

Admission is $10. Tickets will be available at the door or may be reserved by emailing info@dublincommunitycenter.org. Last year’s show sold out. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the performance.
