The Hancock Conversations on Race Group held its fifth annual celebration honoring the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Monday at Hancock Congregational Church.

The theme of the event is King’s ideal of the “Beloved Community," and speakers talked about past and present times and the role and impact of people of color in forming community.
