SUNDAY, AUG. 13

Suspicious person: At 10:28 p.m., police responded to a report of a woman coming out of the woods and jumping in front of a car on Fitchburg Road. New Hampshire State Police were notified of the situation.

MONDAY, AUG. 14

Animal call: At 1:22 p.m., a Hurricane Hill Road resident reported the neighbor’s horses were loose and in the road. An officer assisted with temporarily securing the horses.

TUESDAY, AUG. 15

Police information: At 11:14 a.m., a resident of Greenville called to report information she had for the police department.

Criminal mischief: At 12:58 p.m., an Abbott Hill Road resident reported that his mailbox had been smashed sometime the previous night.

THURSDAY, AUG. 17

Animal call: At 7:19 a.m., a Valley Road resident reported her emu had been attacked at some point and jumped out of its pen. The resident was actively looking for the bird and found it.

Motor vehicle accident: At 11:15 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the center of Mason on Merriam Hill roads. A 64-year-old woman from Wilton, who was driving a 2006 Toyota Rav 4, and a 65-year-old man, who was driving a 1998 Volvo, were involved in the crash. There were no injuries reported. The vehicles were towed from the scene.

FRIDAY, AUG. 18

Loud music: At 6:46 p.m., a Townsend Road resident reported loud music being played at his neighbor’s house. The call was canceled while the officer was on their way over because the music had been turned down.

SATURDAY, AUG. 19

Alarm: At 1:20 p.m., an alarm went off on Valley Road. A resident canceled the response because it was accidental.

Mutual aid: At 4:29 p.m., police responded to a report of a motor vehicle running into a tree on Abbott Hill Road. New Hampshire State Police and Temple/ Greenville police responded.
