DANCEMoCo Arts presents ‘Time to Dance’

MoCo Arts School of Dance is set to perform its annual repertoire, “Time to Dance” on Saturday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m. at the Redfern Arts Center at Keene State College.

Tickets to the performance are $21 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. A livestream option is available for $40 per household.

Choreographed by MoCo’s teaching artists, “Time to Dance” showcases the genres of dance offered at MoCo Arts, sharing the talents of MoCo’s oldest dancers.

“I’ve danced with MoCo since I was 3. I am now 18, and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to find and pursue a passion of mine for this long,” stated Audrey Kostick, a senior at MoCo Arts. “One of my favorite shows is ‘Time to Dance,’ as I always enjoy being challenged by a variety of dances and am excited by the individuality of the teachers’ choreography. MoCo has given me the space to express myself and grow into who I am today.”

MoCo Arts’ dance program offers students grades two through 12 the opportunity to explore dance in several specialties, such as ballet, tap, jazz, modern and hip hop. Children as young as six months can participate in MoCo’s Creative Dance program, a class that allows children to explore their creativity through all forms of dance.

Students are given the opportunity to end each semester with a professional quality performance. All students are encouraged to participate in the performance, but it is not required. For information on MoCo’s School of Dance, visit moco.org/dance or call at 603-357-2100.
