Monadnock Community Hospital hosting injury-prevention seminar

Monadnock Community Hospital will offer a free health and wellness seminar, “Ready to Rally: Injury Prevention for Racquet Sport Enthusiasts,” at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, in the Bond Wellness Center’s lower level, 452 Old Street Road, Peterborough.

Led by Leah Varney and Morgan Jenkins of Monadnock Rehabilitation Services, the hands-on session will focus on injury prevention for tennis, pickleball and squash players. Topics include dynamic warmups, strength and flexibility drills, recovery techniques and long-term strategies to stay active.

Attendees should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared for light movement. The seminar is suitable for beginners and experienced players, though it will not cover racquet technique or swing mechanics.
