Monadnock Music schedules gala

Monadnock Music will hold its annual summertime gala and auction event Sunday, Aug. 18, at 6 p.m. at Stonewall Farm, 242 Chesterfield Road in Keene.

The event will include French nibbles and vocal and instrumental music from the 1880s and 1890s.

Performances kick off with burlesque from Cheri Flambé. Music includes soprano Carrie Cheron with Yoko Hagino on piano, as well as the instrumental quartet of Jesse Irons on violin, Scott Woolweaver on viola, Rafael Popper-Keizer on cello and Yoko Hagino on piano.

Tickets are $100 for members and $125 for the general public, and include one hour of open bar, appetizers and desserts, musical performances, the burlesque show and a raffle ticket. A regular-price gala ticket includes a friend membership for new members.
