The Mr. Mike’s in Jaffrey is set to undergo renovations to become an Alltown Market this month.
According to Liz Fuller, a representative of Global Partners, the corporation that owns the Jaffrey Mr. Mike’s location, the Jaffrey 24-hour market is being converted to the Global Partners’ brand Alltown, joining more than 70 other Alltown locations across New England, including in Peterborough.
Along with the rebranding, the store itself is expected to undergo renovations to upgrade the interior.
“The facilities both interior and exterior will be refreshed and modernized, including fresh paint, new building finishes and signage. Inside the store, new food and coffee service equipment will be installed, which will allow the site to offer a broader selection of fresh deli foods, delicious snacks and other fresh and healthy foods. We are also installing new light fixtures and floor and ceiling tiles,” Fuller said.
The renovation process is expected to take a total of six to seven weeks, according to Fuller, with at least one week where the entire site, including gas pumps and car wash, will be closed.
“For most of the process, the gas pumps and car wash will remain open and accessible, as will a more limited offering inside the store,” Fuller said.
