Hancock Town Library, 25 Main St., will host chicks and eggs needle felting with Julie Cyr Saturday, March 9, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Participants will learn to use foam forms to make chicks and eggs that can be used for decorations. This workshop is appropriate for beginners or folks with some needle-felting experience. All materials are provided.

Cyr is a native northern New Englander who was born in Maine, grew up in Vermont and now lives in New Hampshire. She is a yoga instructor, published poet and fiber artist who began needle felting about 12 years ago.

The class is free and open to all, but registration is required by calling 603-525-4411 or sending email to hancocklibrary@comcast.net with “felting” in the subject line.
