On Saturday, children gathered on the shores of the pond in Central Cemetery in New Ipswich for the annual children’s fishing derby.

The first boy to catch a fish was Jase Somero. The first girl to catch a fish was Avery Moran.

Caleb Royal caught the biggest fish. The youngest to catch a fish was Dakota Sawyer Jr., age 3.
