Jony Burgos Santiago, a 31-year-old New Ipswich resident, was arrested Wednesday on a felony warrant for aggravated felonious sexual assault
According to the Nashua Police Department, Santiago was also charged with a second count of aggravated felonious sexual assault and one count of second degree assault/strangulation.
Nashua Police stated that on March 19, 2023, officers took a report from a female saying she was physically and sexually assaulted by a male known to her and she identified the male as Santiago.
Detectives from the Special Investigations Division continued the investigation, applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Burgos Santiago, who turned himself in to the Nashua Police Department on the warrant.
Burgos Santiago was released on $340 cash bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court on April 30 at 2 p.m.
