No injuries after jeep hit tree Thursday morning in Hancock

There were no injuries in a Thursday morning crash on Peterborough Road in Hancock. 

Police responded to Peterborough road near Cavender Road at 5:55 a.m. after a southbound black Jeep Cherokee veered into the embankment and into a tree. The driver, Dominick Lang, 19, of Peterborough, had been feeling drowsy and drifted off the road, Police Chief Tom Horne said. Lang was uninjured, but the vehicle sustained significant front end damage and was towed from the scene.
