Music on Norway Pond to feature pianists

The next Music on Norway Pond concert in its collaboration with the New England Conservatory of Music (NEC) is Sunday, Jan. 28, at 4 p.m. at Hancock Meetinghouse featuring concert pianists Pualina Lim and Cynthia Tseng.

As piano soloist, Lim has performed with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra as a President’s Young Performer, as well as the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Orchestra. Tseng has participated in the Summer Academy of the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Collaborative Piano Institute in Louisiana and Bowdoin Music Festival in Maine, and has worked with faculty such as Jonathan Feldman, Martin Katz, Rita Sloan, Warren Jones, and Kayo Iwama. She is a doctoral candidate at NEC.

Their program includes music by Satie, Ravel, Saint-Saëns, and selections from Tchaikovsky's "The Sleeping Beauty" ballet and "The Nutcracker Suite”.
