Letter: Independence for Francestown and Dublin
As the Francestown Select Board representative to the ConVal Feasibility Committee, I have spent the past year focused on the prospects of Francestown leaving ConVal to create its own independent school district.
Letter: Healthy skepticism
Misinformation is harmful, and difficult to undo. In a recent letter to the editor (“ConVal costs to be decided,” Feb. 25), a respected voice in our region, Jeanne Dietsch, opined on the proposed withdrawal of Francestown (and Dublin) from the ConVal School District.
Letter: New Ipswich article isn’t ready for prime time
I urge all New Ipswich voters to reject Article 2, the zonign ordinance amendment regarding cluster subdivisions.

Letter: Vote yes to protect lakes
Road salt is one of the most-significant factors contributing to the deteriorating health of our lakes. We ask that Rindge residents help protect the health of our lakes by voting yes on Warrant Article 27.

We, the ConVal School Board, are compelled to state in unequivocal terms that the effects of the petition warrant article proposing a budget cap on our district will be absolutely devastating to our community and most of all to our children. The School Board unanimously opposes this petition.
Letter: ConVal is failing
The ConVal School Board came to Sharon and suggested to turn down the petition to cap student funding at $29,000 per year per student. Sharon residents asked why it cost over $29,000 to go to ConVal while New Ipswich and Jaffrey residents pay roughly $15,000 a year per student and those schools are closer in proximity to Sharon.
