Letter: Thanks to VITA volunteers

Thank you to our dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Income Tax Assistance team at The River Center.

During tax season, they prepared over 350 returns and put in a total of 815.25 hours. They showed up with kindness and patience, listened carefully and made a real difference. Because of them, over 350 households saved over $94,000 in tax preparation fees, and they helped return over $360,000 in refunds, allowing people to keep more money in their pockets and in the community. They left our office feeling lighter and more supported. We are so grateful for all they do.
