Hancock Town Library’s literary Peeps diorama contest is on.

Participants are asked to get crafty with Peeps marshmallows to create a scene from their favorite books, and Library Director Amy Markus is thrilled by the entry turnout this year.

A total of 26 dioramas have been entered, which are displayed at the entrance of the library. Each diorama competes in one of the following divisions: children’s, family or adult. Entries include “The Lion, the Peep and the Wardrobe,” “The Adventures of Peeper Rabbit” and “Peep and the Purple Crayon.''

Hancock Town Library encourages people to look into each little room and soak up all the details, from dragon-riding Peeps to swimming pools.

Voting is open to all residents and visitors of the Monadnock region and will close on Wednesday, April 12. To vote, stop in at the Hancock Town Library, 25 Main St., Monday and Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m., Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  To see the dioramas online, go to hancocktownlibrarynh.wordpress.com/literary-peep-dioramas-2023.
