All Saints' Church, 51 Concord St. in Peterborough, will host a Blessing of the Animals Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 4 to 5 p.m.
The blessing, in honor of St. Francis of Assisi will take place on the lawn in front of All Saints' Church. All animals (including stuffs) and their friends are welcome as people give thanks for our animal companions and bless them. If farmers would like church members to come and bless their flock or herd, contact the church at 603-924-3202.
The event is free.
