Children from ConVal’s eight elementary schools, independent schools, charter schools and preschools marched in the 29th annual Children and the Arts parade at Saturday’s festival in downtown Peterborough. This year’s theme,  “Birds of a Feather,” celebrated the art and science of birds, featuring live bird demonstrations, activities, arts and crafts.
