Peterborough police arrested a Massachusetts man Friday and charged him with possession of drugs with intent to distribute.

Following a traffic stop on Route 101 near Granite Street in Peterborough around 7:23 p.m. Friday, police arrested Jake Robbins, 20, of Milbury, Massachusetts and charged him with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, transportation of a controlled drug and speeding.

Robbins was allegedly in possession of over a pound of marijuana, 18 marijuana-infused chocolate bars, an array of THC-infused vape cylinders, over $4,000 in cash, pepper spray and a knife with built-in brass knuckles, Peterborough Police Chief Scott Guinard said Monday morning.

“That’s a good grab,” Guinard said.

Robbins was transported to the police department, processed and released on personal recognizance bail with a court date of March 26 at Hillsborough Superior Court.
