Two Jaffrey residents were hospitalized with minor injuries after a pickup truck rolled over on Route 124 in Jaffrey Wednesday afternoon.

Ryan McLaughlin, 26, was driving a 1993 Ford Ranger pickup eastbound when he went off the road around 4:32 p.m., said Denise Chatel, of the Jaffrey Police Department.

The truck rolled off the eastbound lane by 617 Mountain Road and landed on its roof in the woods, with heavy damage to the body of the vehicle.

McLaughlin was sent to Cheshire Medical Center with a head wound.

His passenger, Tracy Chalke, 39, was sent to Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough with cuts to her left wrist and leg.

Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash. Chatel said the case is still under investigation and charges are possible for the operator.
