The annual meeting of the Rindge Historical Society will be Saturday, Dec. 3, at 10:30 a.m. at the Rindge Meeting House.

After a brief business meeting, Franklin Pierce University professor Robert Goodby will present “Digging into Native History in New Hampshire” at 11 a.m. Goodby has conducted archeological digs across northern New England over the past 20 years and is the author of the recent book “A Deep Presence: 13,000 Years of Native American History.” This presentation is free, open to the public and is sponsored by New Hampshire Humanities.

Following Goodby’s presentation will be Music at the Museum, an open mic event from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Meeting House in Rindge. Refreshments will be served between the two events. Musicians can contact Ray Siekierski to register in advance at nooniekirk52@gmail.com. A $5 donation to benefit the Rindge Historical Society is suggested.
