From 2015 to 2023, I led a community that welcomes LBTQ people. I helped the Pride movement. I would like to continue discussions on supporting trans women without putting women and girls at risk.
Trans women are not women. How do we protect women and their right to choose when the majority of Democratic reps canโt accurately define what a woman even is?
I have respectfully voiced my concerns, being declared a bigot, unsafe to be aroundย and uneducated. At the March 25 listeningย session that included state Rep. Jonah Wheeler, women were openly called the slur TERF by Executive Councilor Karen Liot Hill. The hosts were biased and failed in their ability to moderate.
People blame Trump. In reality, the Republican Party saw a void and took action. They won the election. The majority of Democrats are confused and quick to blame the other side. It is the Democrats’ deficiency in addressing the issue for women who are concerned and too scared to dissent openly. The Democratic Party is not listening to its people โย calling us Republicans as if to insult, not recognizing that the majority of women feel this way. They are complicit in silencing us by exploiting gender dysphoria, encouraging the social contagion in our youth and fearmongering about the Republican Party.
I am proud of Wheeler and Rep. Peter Leishman. Contrary to what radical Democrats say, they are listening to their constituents. I finally feel represented accurately by a Democrat. Itโs a shame those that used to support them are too drunk, blinded by their self-righteous egos and virtue-signals to recognize it. We may disagree, but acting like there are no Democratic women concerned about this issue is shameful, foolish, and threatens the party’s future.
