School bus carrying baseball team crashes Monday in Antrim, no one injured

No one was injured after a school bus carrying one adult and 23 youths from a baseball team in Windham crashed Monday on Route 9 in Antrim.
According to Antrim Police, the department responded at approximately 3:35 p.m., and Antrim Fire & Ambulance reported that bus the bus had gone off the road, struck a rock and stopped in the breakdown lane.
Police stated that an 88-year-old man from Salem was driving. Fire Chief Marshall Gale said the bus was very close to rolling over, and gave the driver credit for keeping it in control. The bus was damaged enough that it had to be towed from the scene, and Antrim Fire & Rescue stated that the students were transported to Antrim Police Department to wait for another bus.
All individuals were evaluated by Antrim Ambulance personnel and released at the scene without requiring further medical treatment, police stated.
The crash is still under investigation.
