In time for the opening of its memory care neighborhood, The Gardens, Scott-Farrar announces the appointment of a “dream team” of Alzheimer’s and nursing specialists to the community’s leadership team. Scott-Farrar at Peterborough is a full-service independent living, assisted living and memory care community for seniors.

The Gardens is Scott-Farrar’s secure memory care program comprised of 18 private apartments with private bathrooms in a new and specially designed neighborhood environment for those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Residents are taking occupancy in their new apartments in January.

“I am very proud of the team we have assembled at Scott-Farrar,” said CEO Lara Shook. “Debra, Michelle, and Suzanne are the best in their class and collectively raise the bar on what assisted living care is all about. Their leadership abilities, compassion, relatability, and pride in their work is impressive. This translates to unmatched quality of care for our residents and their families.” Born and raised in Peterborough herself, Shook is no newcomer to the memory care world either having spent several years in assisted living, most recently running a very successful community on Cape Cod.
