Being fairly new to Peterborough, I had never attended a Town Meeting. I've seen a large number of submissions on major business projects. This one on the new fire station was similar but better than most.

I was thrilled by the professionalism of all the presenters and the quality of the open forum questions. This type of local and open democracy is what the entire world could use. It is a great pleasure to be part of a community that has always had this level of communication and decision-making.
