By providing a space for practitioners of multiple wellness disciplines to practice and teach, Salitter Spiritual Wellness Studio aims to combat high rent prices for healers while making quality spiritual wellness a more-accessible service for residents of the Monadnock region.

Located at 145 Grove St. in Peterborough, Eva Torontali of Jaffrey and Danielle Jennings of Greenville spent two months preparing the business for its grand opening in late October. Torontali, a reiki healer and Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHD) practitioner, and Jennings, a quantum life coach and certified health coach, wanted a space to see clients consistently and help their fellow healers do the same.

The opening of the business featured practitioners of aura photography, Tesla table therapy and psychic readings. The pair also used the event to network and potentially fill their remaining room at the studio with a renting healer. The establishment is currently used for events such as Jennings’ sacred circle.

“Sacred circle is to have a consistent day and time every week where people can come and be with other like-minded spiritual people,” said Jennings. “So I use some of my coaching techniques in it, but a lot of the time it's like more just a safe space to come and share. Maybe what's going on in your life or what's coming up for you or what you've been thinking about and to find guidance through not just me, but through the other people that are in there because we all have different pieces of the puzzle and we all bring our own kind of information that can be really helpful.”

Torontali, who came to the United States from Hungary in 1997, has worked in sales leadership for the past decade, but saw purpose in creating this business with Jennings, who has been a life coach since 2020. The pair wanted to expand their own businesses of healing while also allowing others in the area to avoid a career of traveling to events and shows across the state without a space to consistently practice.

“We're hoping that you know, by creating this, it will just improve upon the community and people feel more connected with themselves and each other, and to help practitioners and spiritual teachers to make money,” said Jennings. “We purposely priced ourselves very competitively and really low in comparison [to] most other places because we know how difficult it can be to be seen and to make money doing these things when you have to pay for a room. So you don't want to see people like struggling to make ends meet when they're literally the ones that are helping heal people.”

The pair have worked together to paint, clean and furnish the space above the Bagel Mill after leasing the four rooms in August. After two months of work, Torontali and Jennings are more confident in each other as business partners than ever. After meeting at a spiritual fellowship over a year ago, the two are close friends and also co-owners of the business.

“It feels like we've been sisters before,” said Torontali. “We really complement [each other] very well and we work peacefully.”

Torontali and Jennings hope to hold more events like the grand opening in the future to showcase more healers and creators from the area after having dozens of visitors for the opening. In the meantime, the pair have found a calling in Salitter Studio.

“I feel like hate just feeds into more hate and love creates more love. So when we create more love in our studio, that really has a ripple effect,” said Torontali. “So when those people who come to us, anybody, the practitioners or the clients, they come to us and we give them unconditional love and raise their vibrational frequency as a being and then they go out in the world, they're going to create a ripple effect of love spreading far and fast. And that's kind of I think, why we had to build this.”

Appointments can be made to see any of the practitioners of the studio at salitterstudio.com and the pair can be reached for inquiries at salitter.studio@gmail.com.
