The Peterborough Folk Music Society will present The Steel Wheels on Saturday, May 10, at 7 p.m. at The Park Theatre, 19 Main St., Jaffrey.

The Steel Wheels perform a blend of Americana, folk and roots music, shaped by the sounds of the Virginia mountains where the band formed in 2005. Band members Trent Wagler, Jay Lapp, Eric Brubaker, Kevin Garcia and Jeremy Darrow have toured nationally and released albums including "Red Wing," "Wild As We Came Here" and "Over The Trees."

During the pandemic, the band launched "Everyone a Song," creating commissioned songs based on personal stories submitted by fans. They also host the annual Red Wing Roots Music Festival in the Shenandoah Valley, where they perform alongside other national and regional acts.

Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $35 online at pfmsconcerts.org or $40 the day of the show (cash or check only). For information, call 603-318-9196 or send email to deb@pfmsconcerts.org.
