The Park Theatre, 19 Main St. in Jaffrey, will host an open mic night Wednesday, Sept. 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The open mic night features local musicians, poets and storytellers on the second Wednesday of each month. There are typically eight to 10 performers, and each performer is asked to have an act that is usually two to three songs or five to 10 minutes in length.
The theater’s professional sound system typically includes three vocal mics and a two-channel acoustic guitar amp. Bands and groups are welcome. The theater asks for a $5 donation.
