In 1971, Neil Young convened an ensemble that included James Taylor, David Crosby, Graham Nash, Linda Ronstadt, Stephen Stills and the London Symphony Orchestra to record his album “Harvest,” which would be come the best-selling album of 1972 and included the No. 1 hit “Heart of Gold.”
During that time, Young had the cameras rolling, and the result was the film “Harvest Time.” On Dec. 8 and 16, both at 7 p.m., the previously unreleased film from 1971 will be coming to The Park Theatre at 19 Main St. in Jaffrey as part of a worldwide cinematic release. The film will provide fans a chance to take a step back in time to watch part of the process that went into creating the “Harvest” album.
