WiltonTown Hall Theatre presents ‘The Strong Man’

The Town Hall Theatre, 40 Main St., Wilton, will present the silent comedy “The Strong Man” with live music on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m.

Directed by Frank Capra and starring Harry Langdon, “The Strong Man” follows a World War I soldier who works as an assistant to a circus strongman while searching for a girl he corresponded with during the war. The film, recognized for its balance of comedy and emotion, was selected for preservation in the U.S. National Film Registry in 2007.

Live accompaniment will be provided by Jeff Rapsis, a New Hampshire-based composer specializing in silent film scores.
